Defying convention since their mid-1990s formation, avant-Metal breakcore pioneers BONG-RA arrive on DMP in monolithic style with the cold Industrialised wallop of new album "Black Noise".
BONG-RA has always been deeply rooted in and possessed of the same energy, rawness and rebellion as Metal and Grindcore. "Black Noise" finds composer Jason Köhnen returning to the fuck-you extremity of his heritage: blending visceral and weighty stabs of guitar with mechanical electronics, interweaving polyrhythmic relentlessness with grim-faced, steely-eyed Industrial Metal heft - the nervous psychopathy of breakcore bubbling at the edges to boil over in cascades of propulsive energy.
